Sr. Quality Analyst

Purpose:

• Manage software Testing and Production release.

Required Skills/Competency

• Strong Knowledge in manual testing and test methodologies.

• Ability to analyse complex business requirements to produce test requirements.

• Good understanding on Payment domain.protocol .

• Advantage If having on mada  EFTPOS

• Experience in JIRA ,Slack or similar project management tools for requirements, testing, defect management.

• Ability to deliver a high level of work quality 

• Should be able to analyse and find the root cause for the failures.

• Experience in managing test environments and managing test data.

• ISO 8583 Message Protocol

• Visa and Mastercard Certification process 

• Ability to work self-organized/ Motivated.\

• Problem solving, Decision making & project leading / management.

• Automation Testing is addtional value added ( optional )

Key Accountabilities: 

• Identify impacted modules/Features to develop test Scenarios, test cases , Test plan.

• Resolve issues through Debugging, Research and Investigation , Creating new & Innovative ways to improve applications.

• Coordination and tracking of the resolution of the defects with stakeholders / Customer (If required).

• Participation in BRD/ Functional specification walkthroughs.

• Execution of Test cases and subsequent raising of defects (where applicable).

• Actively seek improvement opportunities at all points in the process and suggest/action recommendations.

• Implementation of traceability between Test cases and requirements .

• Proficient in all levels of testing including Functional testing, integration testing ,regression testing .

• Report bugs and errors to development teams .

• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.

• Coordinating with development team members in order to understand the requirements / to resolve the issues.

• Proactively participate in maintaining team standards and best practices.

• Ability to test across multiple functional test phases.

• Strong Communication skills and testing methodologies 

• Participation in regular progress/status update meetings.

computerized skills

     Good knowledge in Mircrosoft office, Jira , Confluence , Programming Language knowledge Optional ( java / Python )  ,  Certification Tool ( Savvi )

Required Education 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent)

Required Work Experience

• 2+ years of relevant work experience
