To maintain competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for new Engineering Manager
Job purpose:
Management and control of a domain engineering squads (tribe), manage the entire domain delivery and architecture and providing guidance on using best practices, engineering methods and tools, using agile and Spotify models
Key Responsibilities:
- Align with The Product Manager to deliver the product roadmap on time.
- Analyse, plan and design the high level and low-level architecture and provide all the technical specifications that the squads need to develop the product.
- Prioritize, delegate, and supervise all engineers’ activities and deliverables.
- Manage, support, and evaluate engineers’ performance.
- Continuous improvement of Engineering processes, automation, creative and new ides to improve throughput and efficiency factor.
- Hire new talent for the team and offer coaching and development opportunities.
- Provide input in strategic technical decisions and solutions, when needed.
- Build the entire technical documentation for the product.
- Work with and lead a range of professionals with different technology backgrounds.
- Ensure people get the right mentorship and coaching to succeed in their roles.
- Maintain and evolve your tribe’s Engineering team in terms of skills, seniority, and diversity.
- Build and evolve teams to match people with projects and determine the best fit for the challenge at hand.
- Grow the team in close collaboration with the recruiting team, setting and keeping high standards in the evaluation process.
- Create a stimulating environment for people to share knowledge and develop expertise in close collaboration with the communities of practice.
- Work closely with the tribe leadership to define strategy, operations, and communications that guide the tribe's products and clients to success.
Must Have Qualifications:
- 12-15 years of experience
- BSc of Engineering or BTech degree preferred.
- 10+ years .Net development experience
- 10+ years MS SQL SERVER & T-SQL
- Should have worked in Payments or e-commerce company before.
- At least 4 years of experience as an architect \ Technical lead position
- Worked on Payment related fintech products.
- Experience with high volume transactional systems advantageous
- Experienced in open-source, Angular TS, and Microsoft technologies.
- Familiar with online server infrastructure
- Must have people management experience, mentorship and growing of team skills.
- Track record of delivery and working in CI\CD environment
- Strong automation based SDLC process experience.
- Track record of delivery and working in cloud environment
- Track record of delivery and working in micro service architecture and micro front end.
- Track record of delivery and working with outsourced and local teams, distribute, remote on multiple concurrent projects.
