The Role

The Product Manager- Merchant Services is responsible for the strategy, delivery and running of all Merchant Services Products across all regions which we operate. Merchant Services products are the products we provide to merchants to enable them to become our customers such as Digital Onboarding (Self, Sales and Assisted), Self Service Platforms and Back Office Portals.

The job holder is expected to deliver the strategy to create functionality across their platforms to offer an exceptional customer experience to our customers. Managing a product team, the job holder will ensure the strategy is turned into deliverable functionality, it is launched to our customers and monitored, maintained and iterated on to ensure continuous evolution and a best in class experience within our industry



Key accountabilities and decision ownership: (max of 7 accountabilities not main or daily duties or tasks)

  • Strategy, both initial and ongoing, of through user, internal and competitor research and feedback.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the product roadmap is geared towards driving the biggest benefit to Geidea (both cost and revenue driving benefits within this product).
  • Managing the development through internal and external development teams, including setting the roadmap, creating user stories, and driving the engineers to deliver as per requirement.
  • Working closely with Product Design to drive the user experience and design of the products and features including design thinking, wireframes and prototyping.
  • Owning the go to market activities ensuring that merchants are aware, able to use and able to access the product. Also ensuring internal customer facing teams are able to both sell and support our customers.
  • Conducting continuous customer feedback to both ensure user experience is seamless and collating feedback to build into the roadmap of iterations and new features.
  • Consistently monitoring performance of their products from a technical and user point of view with metrics such as uptime and number of active users (for example).



  • 12+ Years of experience
  • Business/management degree required
  • Must have a background in Product Management.
  • High efficiency in Jira, Confluence.
  • Experience working with a Product Design Function.
  • Must have market and industry knowledge across home markets and best in class (e.g., Europe).
  • Must have experience in a customer facing product role.
