To maintain competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for new Product Owner.
The Role
Organize, prioritize, and assess work for our product team. Product Owner responsibilities include gathering feature requests, scheduling releases, and coordinating sprints.
Responsibilities
- Product Ownership – E2E execution of the product till delivery.
- Roll out products that deliver Geidea’s vision.
- Identify user needs and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases.
- Incorporate feature requests into the product roadmap
- Initiate and translate the product roadmap into a manageable product backlog and prioritize delivery based on value, risk, and service considerations.
- Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria.
- Understand the primary activities and supporting process activities for value maximization.
- Follow the progress of work and address production issues during sprints.
- Keep track of industry trends.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders and manage all aspects of a project, including brainstorming sessions, design, planning, communication, risk assessment and capacity.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in product management or business analysis in the software products (payments industry) and services industry.
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field (prefered)
- 5+ years’ experience in banking, fintech, or digital payments, with payment gateways (e.g. POS Payments, TMS, MPGS, Cybersource, BNPL, QR, Cash@POS, Wallet providers etc…).
- Experience in Agile software development and tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Product owner or Scrum master certificate is a plus.
- English – high proficiency
- Command of Arabic language would be a big plus.
- Experience with data analysis and integration.
